I thought I'd briefly revive this blog so I can document mom's and my trip to England! Typing is certainly much faster than writing by hand, and as Grandma pointed out, having a record of what we do when will be nice when we look back on this trip in a few years. And hopefully will be a help when we plan future trips! Of course, I'm not sure how often we'll have internet access so posts might be sporadic and not useful as a daily record. I guess we'll see.
Tomorrow is mom's big trip prep day. As for me, I've found my passport! And basically that means that I'm all set. From here, it's maybe an hour of picking out clothes and fitting them and a book or three into my carry-on bag. The only difficult thing will be limiting the amount of books I bring - tomorrow I'm headed to the FREE book warehouse in Baltimore with a couple of friends, and I know I'll come away with a big box full!
